MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – April is Autism Awareness Month and the Madison Police Department are doing something particularly amazing to celebrate and bring issues to light locally.
Tuesday morning, MPD authoritatively disclosed a decked out crew vehicle with rainbow unique pieces and the words “Chemical imbalance Awareness” painted on it.

MPD Officer Andrya Coutts said she trusts the enhanced vehicle will assist with causing individuals with Autism to feel included, as well as bring issues to light about the confusion.
“Ideally this puts that out there, that individuals that perhaps aren’t impacted by mental imbalance comprehend that it’s large enough locally and influences an adequate number of individuals locally,” Coutts said.
